Who's Cass Folley? ( where born & raised , college and major)

- I am from Carroll County, Maryland.. a small town area outside of Baltimore. I went to Carroll Community College for Exercise Science.

Explain your passion for photography?

- I always have loved the art of photography. Ever since I was a little girl I would enter photography contests in my local fair. As I've gotten older I veered away from my love for it but I am so happy to have rekindled my passion for it during quarantine!

What is Philly Phairytale and How did you start it?

- Philly Phairytale is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization where we collect new and gently worn formal dresses and donate them to underprivileged young women that otherwise cannot afford a prom dress. I talked with one of my teammates that also shared a love for community service about this idea I had and we decided to hit the ground running with it. Starting with just social media and reaching out to friends/family for dress donations turned into an official nonprofit organization within 2 months with how fast we were growing!

Speaking of "Phairytales" as a bride to be... tell us your  fairytale love story!

- Kellen and I met at a music festival in Baltimore, Maryland. In a crowd of over 30,000 people we crossed paths with each other and instantly connected. Never met before, zero mutual friends, no dating app... just pure connection! We shared the same interest in music, thrill of adventures, and having a good time. From the day we met we started to date. Although initially we did not date each other long, we experienced life and learned from it. He went left and I went right but we forgot that the Earth is round and in full circle we got back together. Surprisingly at the same music festival we met at, we reconnected there in 2016 and have been together ever since! Music truly brings people together and as everyone says, "timing is everything."

You've had the chance to live the dream for many brides to be. Paint the picture for us. What was it like being on the hit show Say Yes To The Dress "America" ? How would you describe your shopping experience at Kleinfeld?

- Being selected for Say Yes to the Dress America was a dream come true! Shopping at Kleinfelds truly was like being a kid in a candy shop but even better since everything is covered in sparkles, lace, and more!! It's hard to even put in words how magical and surreal the entire experience was. My favorite part was getting to meet people from every single state and I actually have become good friends with a few brides that we still talk with regularly! Without this special experience I would have never met these beautiful ladies! 

Favorite part of wedding planning?

- My favorite part about wedding planning has been finding our "theme" to make it our own. Since Kellen and I met at a music festival we've decided to tie it into our wedding; so picture Coachella/ Woodstock festival vibes with love aesthetics!

Most memorable date with your fiance?

- 2 weeks after we first met we went to NYC together and went to another music festival together. Hands down the most memorable date we went on since it was spontaneous and such a good time with each other. 

Name the best gift he's ever given you and the best gift you've given him!

- As cliche as it sounds, my engagement ring! I absolutely love it! Best gift I've given him was probably tickets to the Eagles vs Giants game, he's big into sports so anytime I get him tickets to a sporting event he's happy!

What are you most excited for on your wedding day?

- Being able to celebrate it with all of my loved ones. Getting everyone together is always hard so I appreciate those times so much!

Traditional or non traditional bride?

- Veryyyyy non traditional

Dream honeymoon location?

- Thailand but the plane ride is too long for our comfort so we'll be heading somewhere closer!

2 or 3 tier wedding cake?

- 0 tier, I am not a cake person. We'll be having mini cheesecakes for our guests!

plated meals or buffet?

- Buffet all the way!! 

chocolate, vanilla, or cream cheese icing ?

- Cream cheese (because that's what cheesecake is made out of)

Favorite movie and why?

- Love & Basketball, such a cute love story and I love that they went separate ways but end up back together in the end. I also admire the hard work they both put in to chase their dreams. C’mon who doesn’t love a good love story?

If you could eat one food every day... what would it be?

- Buffalo chicken!! I love ANYTHING buffalo

- Coffee

- Online, I get overwhelmed shopping in-store.
