THE RADDEST GIRLS ON THE PLANET: VC. VINTAGE

Dear Rad Girl,

If you've been following my Diary (blog) over the past 3 years, you are familiar with this segment #theraddestgirlsontheplanet . In this series, I feature Rad Girls that are energetic,talented, ambitious, fun, loving, uber talented, kind and artistic... I search all around social media for the raddest girls on the planet and I've came across some amazing girls I would love to share their stories with you. First up, Rad Girl: VC. Vintage... VC is one Rad Girl with style that fits the aesthetic of Dear Laney to a tee. I recently sat down with VC and shot her out some Questions I hope you enjoy! :)

DL: You have impeccable vintage inspired style. Where are some of your favorite places to shop? What are some pieces in your wardrobe that you can’t live without?

VC:I'm a big thirfter, and I'm always looking for cool vintage finds but when I want to splurge I love Urban Outfitters, Free people and Anthropologie's styles. I probably can't live without my sunglasses, sneakers and my high waisted pants.  

DL :What is your go to look for day? For night?

VC: I love incorporating denim into a lot of my looks. But I think for a petite girl a cute top and skinny jean with a block heel is always a super easy and cute look for me. At night: you can never go wrong with a black dress and high heels. Can't forget lipstick!

DL: What are you listening to right now: 

VC: 6lack and Kendrick Lamars DAMN

DL: What inspires you?

VC: The hardworking men and women around me. A lot of my close friends and family have such great talent and work ethic and they're pursuing what makes them feel alive. And having that type of energy around me daily is probably what inspires me most right now. 

DL:Tell us a secret

VC:I have concerts in my car when no one is looking lol

DL:Favorite style crush:

VC: Rihanna, she's effortlessly daring and innovative when it comes to style! 

DL: What's Something every girl should have in their summer wardrobe?

VC: A dress that makes them feel flirty and beautiful

DL:What's your favorite accessory and garment from our collection?

VC: I love the Brielle cream tulle skirt, it's super girly and fun and I love the underlining material. I also really loved the Liberty Bell champagne colored flare high waisted pants. They made me feel like a goddess with all that movement !

DL: Best advice to give to young rad girls: keep educating yourself on your skills, follow your passion. 

VC: Best advice I've received: you catch more bees with honey than vinegar. 

DL: Favorite thing to do in my spare time: 

VC: Either go to the beach or the movies.

DL: Tea or coffee:

VC: Tough one, but I'll have to go with tea!

DL: What are 3 things I can't live without:

VC: Music, The Beach, A comb

DL: Dating tips? 

VC: I look for a friend first in your lover, always be true to yourself and true to what you want.

VC: To be proud to be you, to dream big and go for it. And to feel and look good while doing it!
