Weekend Vibes

Dear Laney,

Downtown Philly holds a special place in my heart. Like NYC, downtown Philly, has an array of restaurants and I may be biased, but they are absolutely thee best! They are all each very unique in decor as well as their menu's. This time I went to one of my favorites, SAMPAN. Sampan has happy hour EVERYDAY!! Yes, you read that correct. They are a pan-Asian restaurant with small plates and really good mixed drinks. If you go, be sure to check out the graffiti bar right behind the restaurant. Perfect for date night or a night out with some friends. 

My love and I sort of pigged out, which is totally fine on weekends... I ordered white wine along with their 

Kung Pao Chicken Wings which are topped with mint, basil and peanuts. It was sooo yummy, it had a slight kick to them and lightly fried which is which I loved the most. 

We sat at the chef's bar because it rained a bit so outside wasn't a good choice lol We also ordered the Kim Chee Fried Rice, Kobe sliders, and Korean BBQ Beef Satay.. Everything was sooo yummy I wish I had it right now while writing...
